Find the perfect dress for your body type. It's a simple science, the art of flattering one's body with clothing. Follow our instructions
and you'll be making the most of your figure come prom time.
***
"Accentuate the Positive"- Look below for the body part that you are most proud of and dress accordingly.
Great Legs
Look for dresses with playful hemlines, either uneven or hanky hems will flatter and highlight!
Slim Waist
Dresses with ties, ribbons or doodads under the bust will draw the attention to the right place.
Bootylicious Curves
Go for a stretchy fabric that will hug your curves and work with them, rather than against them (which causes that unsightly "bulge.")
Bodacious Ta-Tas
You know what we're talking about. If you've got an ample chest, give it the support and therefore the attention it deserves with a structured bodice. Extra points for built-in bras and boning (which provides the most rigid kind of stability.)
Slim and Muscular Arms
Go for the halter. It puts all the attention on your shoulders, your arms and your very sexy neck.

"Minimize Some Problem Areas"- Yeah, we've all got 'em. Check it:
Ultra-Flat Chest, Hipless or Both
No sweat. Look for dresses with ruffles and bows and appliques. And be proud- large chested girls can't wear this stuff.
A Booty You'd Like to Hide
We say flaunt it but if you're trying to minimize it, choose a dress with an A-line skirt. It will all but disguise the large bum.
A Thicker Middle
Ruching is the way to go. That's when the fabric is gathered and it's hard to tell what's flabby tummy and what's actually gathered fabric, making for a flattering fit.
Short Legs
You can go long or short but here's the trick. If you go long, look for a dress with an empire waist so that the bottom half of your body looks longer. If you go
for a shorter, cocktail style dress, choose one that hits just above your knees. And don't be afraid to tailor a dress!
